At the very end Jim is looking down the same road that brought both him and ANtonia to their new life. This is the circle that she speaks of. He has returned to his former self, though there are changes, that the land has been blowed every were and that the roads are more civil like, but the same old routes in the dirt and the banks are still clear to see, the way home is still there.
