Today, not many people have religion as a ruling force in their lives. For me, religion is very important, yet not as much a ruling force as it was back in the days. You do see religion being played with from politions, look at the add's you see for the up coming elections, they are playing the conservative ploy to get a group of votes, those who are against abortion or gay marriage. wheather it works or nto is yet to be seen.
In society, religion plays the role of guidance and helping heal the individual. Religion in my life has helped me to live each day and endure the disappointments and the awards of any one given situation.There are many countries around the world where religion governs the legislative framework and the mechanisms of the state. Religion is being used as a political tool to influence policy and advance political strategy. Some candidates have strongly held religious views and are looking to draw on their beliefs to make a personal connection with voters. Other candidates are looking solely to win an election and see religion as a part of a strategy.
